With concerns over the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), The RBSA continues to remain extremely vigilant of the situation. During this time, we are doing everything we can to ensure that the RBSA Gallery remains as safe as possible for all visitors and staff.

The Gallery will remain open for the rest of today and tomorrow (Thursday 19 – Friday 20 March) and with reduced hours on Saturday 21 March from 11am – 4pm. However, we will close on Sunday 22 March. We will make an announcement during the weekend regarding closure beyond Sunday.

We are following government advice to minimise risk, therefore, all events, group visits, learning and volunteering programmes are cancelled until further notice. This includes Lachlan Monaghan’s talk (Sunday 21 March) and the RBSA Open closing party (Saturday 4 April).

We will individually contact artists and booked visits who may be affected by this decision. Due to the constantly changing situation, this may take us a little longer than usual, thank you for your patience.

Future Events and Exhibitions

The planned exhibition programme beyond March will be subject to change, please stay connected with us for updates.

Public Spaces

We are taking extra measures to clean and sanitise the gallery more frequently and advise visitors to follow NHS and Gov UK Covid-19 guidelines.

If you or a member of your household feels unwell or comes in to contact with anyone with symptoms, we urge you to please stay at home. We extend this advice to anyone who self-identifies as high risk.
